NBB held their 2011 International Meeting on April 14th and 15th in Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron in the beautiful city of Salzburg.
21 partners from eight countries from 3 continents were present at the event, which was a great opportunity to reunite NBB offices from all over the world not only to share their relevant business experiences and opportunities but also discuss NBB’s presence and future.
The Meeting was the appropriate place to formally introduce NBB’s new shareholder Sartorial, represented by NBB’s new CEO, João Ermida. The guidelines for NBB’s future were presented and discussed, and the commitment to improve NBB’s worldwide network synergies was enforced.
Besides businesses opportunities presentations from represented NBB offices from the Ukraine, Germany, Czech Republic, Latvia, Portugal, South Africa, Russia and Indonesia, there were also presentations from NBB’s offices in Colombia, Mexico, China and Israel.
The event was an opportunity to share important know-how with NBB’s international network. One of our German partner, Carter Looney was presenting Private Equity Sources in the US, and Cooperation terms with Equity Funds; NBB’s new partner in Cape Town, South Africa presented in detail Investment and Offshore Opportunities in the Southern Hemisphere, and NBB’s new partner Johannesburg, Darren Timm, showed a detailed insight regarding the BEE law and Foreign Investors guidelines for the South African Market.
The presence of external speaker Mr. Wolf-Dieter Martius, Senior Consultant of Syncon International Franchise Consultants, provided to the participants important insights regarding Success and Growth rules for franchising networks. Mr. Thomas Schmidt, from TCS Consult in Cologne, Germany, presented how E-Marketing & Search Engine Optimisationcan rapidly increase results in NBB’s leads generation and brand visibility.
Pedro Marques, Senior Consultant at NBB HQ demonstrated a glimpse of how White Office, the new CRM & Project Management Software of NBB will help partners to take the utmost advantage of all the information they have regarding their business.
The NBB award for “Best International NBB Office 2010” was presented by NBB’s Managing Director, Gundo Kahle to Anna Reznichenko from NBB’s Master Office in Kiev, Ukraine for the outstanding progress and proficiency shown after joining NBB’s network just over one year ago.
Overall this was not only a great opportunity for debating issues of common interest, and sharing contacts from NBB’s network personally, but also a great venue to share important off-duty time with colleagues from other parts of the world.
We are sure that next year’s International Meeting will be even bigger and better, and believe the future for NBB’s worldwide network is now brighter than ever, and much more transparent.
